(St. John’s, NL), June 21, 2023 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) are investigating the theft of a backhoe, which occurred overnight in the metro region.

On Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 3:20 am, RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) responded to a report of a backhoe operating dangerously in the area of St. Thomas Line in Paradise. The backhoe was located a short time later in the area of St. Thomas Line near Lawlor Road. Responding officers determined that the backhoe had been stolen from the area of Brookfield Road in St. John’s.
