RNC Investigating Suspicious Death

(St. John’s, NL), March 5, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is investigating a suspicious death in Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove.

Around 10 a.m. today, Operational Patrol Services, the Criminal Investigation Division, and Forensic Identification Services, responded to the area of Liam Drive where a woman was found deceased inside a property. The RNC sends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

The RNC will work with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner OCME to determine the cause of the death.

At this stage in the investigation, information gathered indicates there is no threat to public safety.

While investigators carry out interviews and gather other related evidence, it is vital to protect the integrity of the investigation. The RNC will provide updates as the investigation progresses.
