RNC Investigating Shots Fired

(St. John’s, NL), July 22, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) are investigating an event involving shots fired at a residence in St. John’s.

On Sunday (July 21) at approximately 10:30 p.m., RNC operational patrol services responded to a report of gunshots fired at a property in the area of Rickett’s Road. On arrival, officers determined multiple gunshots had been fired at a residence resulting in damage to the property. There were no injuries related to the incident. This is believed to be a targeted attack.

The RNC Criminal Investigation Division are seeking any information and video footage in the area between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on Sunday night.
