(Wabush, NL) February 18, 2020 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is investigating a shooting which occurred in Wabush, NL.

Members of RNC operational patrol services division in Labrador West are investigating a shooting which occurred on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at approximately 2:00 pm. It is believed that a home on Commercial Street in Wabush received gunfire which damaged property, and caused fatal injury to a dog.

There were no injuries sustained to any occupants of the home. Investigators have reason to believe that this was not a random act.

Investigators are asking anyone who has CCTV or dash camera footage in the area, or any information pertaining to this incident to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
