Investigators with the RNC GIU are looking to identify the individuals responsible for three break and entries that occurred in the early morning hours of Friday, November 16, 2018. A Chevrolet Orlando was stolen from a home at Jubilee Place in Mount Pearl sometime overnight and was used in all three break and entries.

The first break and entry occurred at approximately 2:35 am at Marie’s Mini Mart on Kiwanis Street, just off Kelsey Drive, in St. John’s. Security footage showed the stolen vehicle being driven through the front of the business and entry being gained. The suspects fled the area empty handed, but caused significant property damage.

At approximately 3:35 am, the RNC were called to JMD Convenience on the CBS Highway in CBS after the same suspects, using the same stolen vehicle, drove through the front of the business and gained entry. The suspects made away with an undisclosed quantity of tobacco products.

At approximately 4:35 am, the RNC were called to the Shoe Company on Stavanger Drive to the third break an entry believed to involve the same individuals and stolen vehicle. The suspects used tools to gain entry into the business and made away with an undisclosed quantity of merchandise.

Investigators believe that two to three individuals may be involved in all three of these break and entries that occurred on November 16, 2018. A patrol officer recovered the stolen vehicle in the west-end of St. John’s later in the morning.
