RNC Investigating Indecent Acts

(Mt. Pearl, NL), July 2, 2019 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Child Abuse and Sexual Assault (CASA) Unit is investigating complaints of Indecent Acts in the city of Mount Pearl.

Over the July 1st weekend the RNC received complaints of a man committing indecent acts in the area between Commonwealth Avenue and Old Placentia Road in the city of Mount Pearl. Members of CASA are continuing to investigate these complaints and ask anyone who has information to contact the RNC.

While there is no evidence to suggest any risk to public safety, the RNC is asking all trail way and related open area users to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.

The investigation into these complaints is ongoing. Anyone who has any information to assist is asked to call the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can now provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers Website at: www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
