RNC Investigating Hit and Run Collision in St. John’s

(ST. JOHN’S, NL), October 28, 2019 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is investigating a hit and run vehicle collision in St. John’s.

On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, shortly after 8:00 pm, RNC Operational Patrol Services Division responded to a report of a collision at the intersection of Allandale Road and Elizabeth Avenue in St. John’s. On arrival, responding officers were informed that a pick-up truck that was involved in the collision had left the area. Additional information indicated that several vehicles were stopped at the intersection at the time of the collision and may have witnessed the incident.

The pick-up truck is believed to be a white Ford F150, with chrome wheels and a lift kit. No license plate was obtained at the scene. The other vehicle involved was a black SUV. The RNC is asking anyone that witnessed the collision to contact the RNC.
