RNC Investigating Fatal Collision in St. John’s

(St. John’s, NL), December 11, 2023 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) are investigating fatal single-vehicle collision, which occurred in St. John’s Sunday morning.

On Sunday (Dec 10) just after 6:00 a.m., RNC patrol officers responded a report of a motor vehicle collision that had occurred on Empire Avenue, in the area of Graves Street, in St. John’s. Responding officers determined that a vehicle with three occupants had collided with a residence on Empire Avenue.

Two occupants of the vehicle were transported to the hospital with serious injuries resulting from the collision. The other occupant, a 32-year-old male of St. John’s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and investigators are seeking any witnesses or video footage in the area of Empire Avenue near Graves Street within the 5:50 a.m. to 6:20 a.m. timeframe.
