(St. John’s, NL), May 5, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Accident Investigation (AI) are investigating a serious collision which occurred in the east end of St. John’s.

On Sunday, May 2, 2021, just before 1:30 pm, officers with the RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) came upon a motor vehicle collision which had just occurred. The collision involved a black Honda Accord sedan and a black Ford F-150 pickup truck in the area of MacDonald Drive, just west of Ottawa Street, in St. John’s. The operator, and single occupant, of the Honda Accord was taken to the Health Science Center to be treated for serious injuries.

The RNC AI ask that anyone who witnessed the collision, or with video footage in that area at the time of the collision, contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can now provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers Website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
