RNC Investigate Impaired Driving in CBS

(St. John’s, NL), October 26, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) issued a seven-day driving suspension and seized a vehicle last night in Conception Bay South (CBS).

On Monday, October 25, 2021, at approximately 9:35 pm, officers with the RNC OPS conducted a traffic safety stop with a vehicle travelling on CBS Highway in Manuels area of CBS. The operator was subsequently arrested in connection with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.

The 25-year-old female operating the vehicle was released from custody pending an ongoing investigation related to impaired operation of a motor vehicle. The female was issued a seven-day driving suspension and her vehicle was impounded from the scene.
