RNC In Labrador Make Arrest After Break In

(Labrador City, NL), October 19, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) in the Labrador West region arrested a male in connection with a break and enter in Labrador City.

On Thursday, October 14, 2021, at approximately 9:55 pm, officers with the RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) and Forensic Identification Services (FIS) responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence in Labrador City. Responding officers cleared the building, observing signs of forced entry, and confirmed a suspect had left the area.

The investigation in to the event revealed that a lone male suspect was inside the building at approximately 9:15 pm.

As a result of the investigation, on October 15, 2021, officers arrested a 46-year-old male who was charged with break and enter. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
