RNC in Churchill Falls Arrested Wanted Individual

(Churchill Falls, NL), October 5, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) arrest wanted individual in the Churchill Falls Region after stopping a vehicle for excessive speeds.

On Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 3:07 p.m. RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) in Churchill Falls stopped a pickup truck driving at excessive speeds on the Trans Labrador Highway just east of the community. The vehicle was travelling approximately 64 km/hr over the posted 80 km/hr limit. The passenger of the pickup truck, a 36 year old male, was found to have multiple outstanding warrants. He was arrested and held for court. Multiple summary offence tickets were issued for excessive speeding, no insurance and expired registration. The vehicle was impounded.
