RNC Corner Brook Region Make Arrest in Mischief Investigation

(CORNER BROOK, NL) – July 14, 2017 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Corner Brook Region has arrested and charged a male in relation to property damage at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. 

On Friday, July 14, 2017 members from RNC Patrol Services were attending Western Memorial Regional Hospital when a male intentionally damaged a water sprinkler head in the emergency department causing extensive flooding.

As a result of the investigation, on Friday, July 14, 2017 a 20 year old male resident of Corner Brook was arrested and charged with one count of Mischief over $5000.00 and one count of Causing a False Fire Alarm.  The male subject will appear in Provincial Court on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
