RNC Corner Brook Region Issue Advisory Regarding Moose – Corner Brook Stream Trail

(CORNER BROOK, NL) – May 23, 2017 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Corner Brook Region is issuing an advisory in relation to a moose in the Corner Brook Stream Trail.

The RNC wishes to advise the public of a moose in the area of the Corner Brook Stream Trail. The moose has been seen near the Glynmill Inn Pond, Corner Brook marsh, Commercial Street and Mount Bernard Avenue areas of the trail.  Officers with Natural Resources are continuing to monitor the moose.

Members of the general public are asked to use caution if using the above areas of the Corner Brook Stream Trail and to not approach the moose if they encounter it.
