RNC Corner Brook Region Arrest Males in Assault Investigation

(CORNER BROOK, NL) – June 30, 2017 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Criminal Investigation Division has charged two males as a result of an ongoing assault investigation.  

On Wednesday, June 28, at approximately 9:42 pm RNC Patrol Services responded to a report of a disturbance in the area of Prince Edward Park.  It was reported that several people were involved in a physical altercation.  

As a result of the investigation, on Thursday, June 29 a 25 year old male resident of Corner Brook was arrested and charged with 3 counts of Assault; as well a 42 year old male resident of Corner Brook was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault with a Weapon and one count of Assault. The male subjects will appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
