RNC Arrest Male Unlawfully At Large

(St. John’s, NL), September 2, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a male in St. John’s last night who was unlawfully at large.

On Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at approximately 11:30 pm, RNC OPS responded to the east end of St. John’s in relation to a report of a male being unlawfully at large. There was also a parole warrant in effect for the individual, a 31-year-old male from St. John’s.

Subsequent to an investigation, RNC patrol officers located the 31-year-old male in the east end of St. John’s on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at approximately 7:25 pm. Officers placed the male under arrest without incident, executing the parole warrant and laying a charge of being unlawfully at large. He was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
