RNC Arrest Female Following Disturbance in St. John’s

(ST. JOHN’S, NL), October 8, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a female following a disturbance in the east end of the capital city overnight.

On Friday, October 8, 2021, at approximately 1:15 am, members of the RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a disturbance at a hotel in the east end of St. John’s. Responding officers arrived on scene, locating a male and female at the location where a disturbance was reported. The male was visibly injured.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 30-year-old female was placed under arrest and charged with assault. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court on the matter.
