RNC Apprehend Man On Arrest Warrants

(St. John’s, NL), August 31, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a male in connection with warrants for his arrest in St. John’s yesterday evening.

On Monday, August 30, 2021, at approximately 7:35 pm, RNC OPS responded to a request for police assistance in the downtown area of St. John’s. Responding officers were advised of a disturbance in a public space near Tessier Place.

On arrival, officers located a male with multiple warrants in effect for his arrest. The 51-year-old male from St. John’s was arrested without incident at the scene. He was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
