RNC Appoint Two Members to Rank of Deputy Chief

(St. John’s, NL), March 18, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has appointed two members to the rank Deputy Chief of Police.

Members of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary were joined today by John Hogan, Newfoundland and Labrador Minister of Justice and Public Safety and Attorney General to promote two of the RNC’s newest Deputy Chief’s of Police.

Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Chief Patrick Roche and the members of the RNC are proud to announce the appointments of Stephanie Legace and Colin McNeil to the rank of Deputy Chief of Police. Both appointments are effective immediately.

Deputy Chief Legace is a 20-year veteran of the RNC and will serve as the RNC’s first female Deputy Chief.

Deputy Chief Colin McNeil is a 27-year veteran with experience policing with Halifax Regional Police and the RNC.
