Office of the Chief Medical Examiner Confirms Identity of Human Remains as Missing Person Anna GAULTON (1944-05-11)

(St. John’s, NL), October 6, 2023 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) regrets to inform that missing person, Anna GAULTON of Conception Bay South, has been located deceased.

Human remains were located on October 3 in the area of Minerals Road and the old Talc Mine in Conception Bay South. Today (Oct. 6) the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner positively identified the deceased as Anna GAULTON, the 79-year-old who was last seen August 8 in the area of Kelligrews.

The RNC is expressing sincere condolences to the family and friends of Anna GAULTON.

The investigation is ongoing and the RNC is working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
