Extra Patrols for JibFest Weekend in the Corner Brook-Humber Valley Region

(Corner Brook, NL) – February 15, 2019 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Corner Brook Region in partnership with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and the Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation (NLC) will be increasing enforcement during JibFest weekend from February 15th -17th, 2019 in the Humber Valley – Corner Brook area.

JibFest is an annual 3 day music celebration which attracts thousands of visitors to Marble Mountain, as well as to other licensed establishments in the Humber Valley and Corner Brook area.  It is the goal of the RNC, RCMP and NLC to keep our communities and roadways safe by conducting extra patrols, road safety checkpoints, and monitoring licensed establishments in the Corner Brook and Humber Valley region.

The RNC, RCMP and the NLC welcome visitors to Western Newfoundland, and we encourage everyone to celebrate safely and responsibly.
