2018 Law Enforcement Torch Run – Polar Plunge

(St. John’s, NL), – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) wishes to recognize the upcoming Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) – Polar Plunge in aid of Special Olympics.

On Sunday, November 4, 2018, at the Rotary Sunshine Park Thorburn Rd, the LETR NL will be hosting their annual Polar Plunge in support of Special Olympics NL.  The LETR is recruiting individuals to participate, help raise money and share the excitement of the Polar Plunge.  Participants who raise donations from friends, family and co-workers get the privilege to jump into the icy waters. Depending on how much is raised by individuals, LETR gifts will be awarded.  The event starts with registration at 12:00pm at the Sunshine Camp building. The polar plunge starts at 1:00 pm!

All money raised will help over 700 Newfoundland and Labrador Special Olympics athletes continue to participate and enjoy quality programs and competitions.

The event has representation by all law enforcement agencies across Newfoundland and Labrador and all monies raised will remain in the province to support Special Olympics.
