2017 Law Enforcement Torch Run

(ST. JOHN’S,NL) – June 8, 2017 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) in Partnership with all Law Enforcement Agencies in Newfoundland & Labrador, wishes to recognize the upcoming Law Enforcement Torch Run in aid of Special Olympics.

During the week of June 2-9, 2017, there will be a number of organized walks and runs taking place across Newfoundland and Labrador. The St. John’s run will take place tomorrow, Friday June 9th. The start time is scheduled for 9:00 am at the Conception Bay South (CBS) Town Hall.  It will proceed east along the CBS Highway through all the communities. It will continue to the Paradise Community Center with an estimated arrival time of 11:15 am. There will be a short break there for lunch before the run continues east.

The event will finish at Home Depot, Kelsey Drive, St. John’s to connect with a fundraising BBQ which will be taking place throughout the day.
