RNC Seek Woman Wanted for Home Invasion

(St. John’s, NL), August 9, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is searching for wanted person, Calystia Careen, following a home invasion in Mount Pearl.

On Wednesday (August 7), shortly before 8 a.m., RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of unknown trouble in the area of Forsey Place. Responding officers determined that a woman had forced entry into a home and assaulted a resident of the property. The woman then fled the area in a vehicle prior to police arriving. This is believed to be a targeted incident.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 35-year-old Calystia Careen of Placentia in relation to the event. Careen is wanted in connection with charges of break and enter, assault and mischief. The RNC is urging the public to avoid approaching Careen and is asking for any information that may assist with locating the accused.
