(St. John’s, NL), May 23, 2017 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Traffic Services is investigating a motor vehicle/pedestrian collision that occurred on the Costco Parking Lot on Aberdeen Avenue in St. John’s.

On Friday May 12, 2017 at approximately 3:15 pm a black Dodge Charger collided with a female pedestrian in the area of the west side of Costco. The female pedestrian sustained injuries and was taken to the Health Sciences Center for assessment. She was later released.

The RNC is specifically looking for an off duty Fire Fighter or Paramedic who assisted the pedestrian, as it is believed he may have witnessed the collision.

The RNC is asking this person to contact the RNC or anyone who has any information in relation to this collision is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
