RNC Investigating Armed Robbery

(St. John’s, NL), June 9, 2017 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individuals responsible for an armed robbery at a pharmacy in CBS.

Wednesday afternoon, just after 4:00pm, officers with RNC Patrol Services Division, Criminal Investigation Division, Forensic Identification Service and Police Dog Services responded to a report of an armed robbery at Green’s Pharmacy, at 842 CBS Highway in Conception Bay South. Witnesses advised that a lone man with his face concealed entered the business armed with a firearm and demanded paramedical drugs.

The lone man fled to an awaiting vehicle and left the scene prior to police arrival. The man was described as 5’4” with a stocky build wearing all black clothing and a black mask. The vehicle was used to flee the scene was a white Ford panel van.
