RNC Release Photos of Suspects in Downtown Assault

(St. John’s, NL) – July 10, 2017 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Patrol Services Division is seeking the public’s assistance identifying four men who were involved in an altercation in the downtown area of St. John’s on May 13, 2017.

On Saturday, May 13, 2017 at approximately 2:20am, patrol officers responded to a report of a fight on George Street in area of band stand. On arrival, police located a man and a woman who had been physically assaulted by a group of men who were not known to them.

CCTV footage obtained from an area business captured images of the men who we believe is responsible for this assault.
