Male Arrested for Sexual Assault

(ST. JOHN’S, NL) August 15, 2017 – The RNC Criminal Investigation Division has arrested a male who was the subject of a public advisory. Earlier today the RNC issued a press release stating that this male was a suspect in an investigation in which it was alleged that he was attempting to solicit sexual activity from teenage females.

This afternoon the RNC arrested a 30-year-old male in relation to this investigation. He is a resident of St. John’s and has been charged with: sexual assault and sexual interference. The male has been held in custody and will appear in Provincial Court in St. John’s tomorrow.

Even though the male has been arrested, the RNC continues to ask the public to provide any information that may assist in this investigation or lead to the identification of other victims.
