RNC Police Studies Graduation Parade and Swearing – In Ceremony

(St. John’s, NL), August 25, 2017 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) and Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) are pleased to advise the media and members of the general public of the upcoming 2017 Police Studies Program Graduation.

 On Saturday, August 26, 2017, the Graduation Parade and Swearing-In Ceremony will take place at the Field House on MUN campus in St. John’s, NL at 1:00 pm. His Honour, the Honourable Frank F. Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Honorary Chief of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, Her Honour Mrs. Patricia Fagan, Honourable Andrew Parsons, Minister of Justice and Public Safety of Newfoundland & Labrador as well as Dr. Gary Kachanoski, President and Vice-Chancellor, Memorial University of Newfoundland, will join RNC Chief of Police, Joseph Boland, to present the newest RNC Constables with their police badges.

 This is the 13th class to complete the Diploma in Police Studies Diploma Program in partnership with Memorial University. More than 500 women and men of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary will be honoured to welcome our newest police constables and we look forward to working together to building safe and healthy communities.
