RNC Looking for Witnesses in Aggressive Driving Investigation

(ST. JOHN’S, NL) September 20, 2017 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Patrol Services Division is looking for witnesses following a complaint of aggressive driving on the CBS HY in Conception Bay South Tuesday afternoon.

On Tuesday, September 20, 2017 just after 1:30pm RNC Patrol Services responded to a report of property damage following an alleged dangerous driving incident. An altercation is believed to have occurred between the driver of a silver BMW SUV and the operator of a black Harley Davidson Motorcycle. As a result of the initial investigation police have charged a 43 year old CBS man with Mischief and the investigation is ongoing.

We do not believe that the two drivers were known to each other and are investigating the driving of both vehicles at the time of the incident. Police are keen to speak with anybody who may have witnessed the two vehicles driving in traffic together at the time of the incident in the west bound lane of the CBS Highway near Greeley Town Road around 1:30pm-1:40pm.

If you witnessed this incident, please contact the RNC at 729-8000.
