RNC Investigating Residential Break and Enter in Corner Brook

(CORNER BROOK, NL) September 28, 2017 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Criminal Investigation Division is investigating a break and enter that occurred at a residence in Corner Brook on September 28, 2017.

At approximately 2:00 am officers with Patrol Services Division and Police Dog Services responded to a break and enter in progress in the area of Carter Avenue. Responding officers located two males in the area who matched the description provided by the homeowner. These males fled into a wooded area and were not apprehended, however property that is believed to have been stolen from the residence was recovered by Police Service Dog Garvey.

The Criminal Investigation Division is asking anyone who has information related to this break and enter to contact the RNC at 637-4100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. You can now provide information anonymously on the NL Crime Stoppers Website at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
