(Labrador West, NL) – May 15, 2018 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Labrador West Region have arrested and charged an adult male in relation to an assault.   

On Sunday, May 13, 2018 at approximately 2:55 am officers with RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the Wabush area.  It was reported that an adult male had assaulted and threatened an adult female; the accused and victim are known to each other.   

As a result of the investigation, on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at approximately 5:08 am a 34 year old male resident of Wabush was arrested and charged with Assault and Uttering Threats.  The male appeared in Provincial Court yesterday.
