RNC Continue Attempted Murder Investigation

(ST. JOHN’S, NL) May 25, 2018 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) are investigating an attempted murder which occurred in the area of Crosbie Road.

On Saturday, May 19, 2018, the RNC’s Major Crime Unit arrested 26 year old Michael Hannaford in relation to a shooting which occurred on the morning of May 18, 2018. The female victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The RNC’s Major Crime Unit is continuing to investigate the incident that occurred in the area of Swilers Rugby Club on Crosbie Road at approximately 5:30 am on Friday, May 18, 2018. Investigators are interested in speaking with anyone who may have CCTV cameras on their home, or have dash cameras on their vehicles, in the area at that time.
