RNC Labrador West Region Arrest Female for Residential Break, Enter and Assault

(LABRADOR WEST, NL) – July 5, 2018 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Labrador West Region has arrested a female in relation to a residential break, enter and assault.

On Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at approximately 1:00 p.m. officers with RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a complaint of uttering threats at a residence in Wabush. It was reported that a female suspect gained entry into a residence through a door, threatened the occupants and assaulted one occupant with a weapon. The accused and complainants are known to each other.

As a result of the investigation, on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at approximately 5:20 pm officers with Operational Patrol Services arrested and charged a 27 year old female resident of Labrador City with one count each of Break and Enter, Assault with a Weapon, and Uttering Threats. The accused has been held in custody and will appear in Provincial Court today.
