Labrador Man Arrested Following Threats Investigation

(St. John’s, NL), July 27, 2018 – A 40-year-old Labrador City Man has been arrested in relation to a threats investigation.

On Sunday, July 22, 2018, the RNC in Labrador West received information that a man had made threats against two residents of Labrador City. Further information was received that the man had also made threats to cause damage to the RNC’s Labrador West Detachment using an explosive device.

An arrest warrant was requested on Sunday, July 22, 2018 for Christopher CLARKE (1978-01-14) in relation to these allegations.

The Sûreté du Québec arrested CLARKE in Baie Comeau, Quebec Wednesday morning. CLARKE was transferred to Labrador last evening and will appear at Provincial Court in Wabash today.
