RNC Search for Missing Person – Apu AKBAR (1960-02-23)

(St. John’s, NL), November 9, 2018 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is seeking the assistance of the public in locating missing person, Apu AKBAR.

AKBAR was reported missing to the RNC last night after his vehicle was located in the area of Kavanaugh’s Lane in Flatrock.  AKBAR, who is of East Indian, is described as 5’1” and 140lbs with dark eyes. Members of the RNC along with ROVERs and a helicopter from Fire and Emergency Services conducted ground and air searches earlier today but were not successful locating AKBAR.

The RNC are continuing to search for Apu AKBAR. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of AKBAR is asked to call the RNC in St. John’s at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
