RNC Release Photo in Armed Robbery Investigation

(ST. JOHN’S, NL), November 12, 2018 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Labrador West Division is seeking the public’s help identifying the individual responsible for an armed robbery.

On Saturday, November 10, 2018, at approximately 9:00 pm, RNC officers in Labrador City responded to a report of an armed robbery at Lake Side Convenience on Maple Crescent. Witnesses reported that a lone male entered the store with his face concealed, armed with an undisclosed weapon, and demanded cash. The male fled the area prior to police arrival with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries as a result of this robbery.

The male is described as being between 5’8”-5’9” and at the time of the offence was wearing a black mash, dark plaid jacket, and black gloves. Witnesses also advise police the male had a deep voice.
