RNC Request Assistance With Investigation in to Disturbance

(ST. JOHN’S, NL), October 15, 2019 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Major Crime Unit is investigating a disturbance which occurred in Torbay.

On Monday, October 14, 2019, just before 10:00 pm, RNC Operational Patrol Services Division responded to a report of a disturbance in the area of Eagle’s Edge in Torbay. Reports indicate that approximately 50 to 100 people gathered in the area, at which time an altercation occurred.

Investigators are seeking any cell phone video, vehicle dash camera, or CCTV footage in the area that may provide information to assist this investigation.
