RNC Lay Charges in Minor Hockey Investigation

(CORNER BROOK, NL) – January 14, 2020 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Corner Brook Region has charged a 46 year old female in relation to its investigation into financial irregularities within the Corner Brook Minor Hockey Association.

The accused, a former employee of the association, has been charged with:

  • Theft Over $5,000
  • Fraud Over $5,000
  • False Pretenses
  • Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card
  • Two counts of Uttering a Forged Document.

She is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on February 18, 2020.
