RNC Investigating Break and Enter at Mount Pearl Business

(St. John’s, NL), April 13, 2020 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit (GIU) is investigating a break and enter at a business in Mount Pearl.

On Saturday, April 4, 2020, shortly after 3:00 am, members of the RNC Operational Patrol Services Division responded to a business located on Topsail Road in Mount Pearl regarding an alarm. On arrival, officers confirmed entry had been gained to the building. It was later determined that various clothing products had been taken from the business.

Responding officers were unable to locate any suspects in the area, however, CCTV footage inside the business captured the incident in progress.

The RNC General Investigation Unit is actively investigating, and ask anyone who has information to provide, or has CCTV or dash camera footage in the noted area, to call the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
