(CORNER BROOK, NL) – June 29, 2020 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Corner Brook Region is currently investigating an assault which occurred in the Town site area of the city.
On Thursday, June 25, 2020, members of RNC Operational Patrol Services received a report of an assault which occurred at an apartment complex sometime between June 23 and 24. As a result of the incident a 56 year old male resident of Corner Brook is in hospital for treatment of what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
RNC Criminal Investigation Division are continuing the investigation, and are looking to speak with witnesses of the incident.
