RNC Searching for Suspects of Robbery

(St. John’s, NL), March 18, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit (GIU) are investigating a robbery at a service station in St. John’s.

At approximately 4:00 am on Sunday, February 28, 2021, Operational Patrol Services responded to a service station on Anderson Avenue in St. John’s following reports of a robbery. Three individuals entered the business, demanding cash and cigarettes. After obtaining an amount of cash and cigarettes, the suspects exited the store and fled the area.

The suspects are described to be male, all approximately 30 years old, and roughly the same height, at five feet and six inches. One suspect was wearing a camouflage style jacket with the hood up, white gloves, black sweat pants, white and black sneakers, and a green mask. A second suspect was wearing a light grey hoodie with black logo, black pants, black and red sneakers, and a dark mask. The third suspect wore a black jacket with fur lining the hood, jeans, black laced work boots, and a white mask. Surveillance footage captured an image of the suspect wearing the camouflage jacket, which is attached for viewing.
