RNC Advising Community of Pharmacy Break and Enters

(St. John’s, NL), March 18, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit (GIU) are investigating a pair of break and enters involving pharmacies in the metro region.

The RNC GIU are requesting the assistance of the community with investigations in to break and entries at pharmacies in the metro region. Officers responded to a pharmacy in Torbay on March 5, 2021, in relation to a break and enter, and in the early hours of March 17, 2021, a break and enter occurred at a pharmacy in Portugal Cove-St. Phillips. With these investigations ongoing, investigators ask that any suspicious activity, vehicles or persons, be reported to the RNC for follow up.
