RNC Track Down Break and Enter Suspect

(St. John’s, NL), August 16, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a woman after a break and enter in St. John’s on Friday.

On Friday, August 13, 2021, at approximately 3:15 pm, The RNC OPS responded to a report of a break and enter that had just occurred at a residence in St. John’s city center. The female suspect had fled on foot prior to officers arriving at the scene. Officers were able to locate the suspect a short time later in the downtown area of the capital city.

As a result of an investigation, a 46-year-old woman from St. John’s was arrested and charged with break and enter, property damage and breach of court order. The woman was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
