RNC Arrest Man Unlawfully At Large

(St. John’s, NL), August 16, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a man who was unlawfully at large over the weekend.

On Sunday, August 15, 2021, at around 10:00 am, RNC OPS responded to a report of intoxicated persons engaged in suspicious activity in the area of Donovan’s Road in St. John’s. On arrival, officers located the subjects of the call for service. Both individuals were identified by the officers, at which time officers confirmed the man involved was unlawfully at large.

As a result of an investigation, a 45-year-old man from St. John’s was arrested on the outstanding warrant of arrest for being unlawfully at large, and he was charged with breach of court orders. He was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
