RNC Make Arrest For Impaired Driving In Metro

(St. John’s, NL), August 20, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrest a woman in connection with impaired driving in St. John’s.

On Thursday, August 19, 2021, just before 8:00 pm, RNC OPS responded to a report of possible impaired driving in the Blackmarsh Road area of St. John’s. On arrival, responding officers determined a vehicle operated by a 55-year-old woman from Mount Pearl had collided with several vehicles in a parking lot.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, the woman was arrested and charged with impaired driving, refusal to provide a sample, and her vehicle was impounded from the scene. The woman was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
