RNC Make Arrest On Outstanding Warrants

(St. John’s, NL), August 24, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) made an arrest yesterday in connection with an outstanding arrest warrant.

On Monday, August 23, 2021, just before 11:00 am, The RNC OPS were patrolling in the area of Torbay Road in Torbay when they observed a man who was known to have outstanding warrants for his arrest. The man immediately fled on foot.

RNC OPS and RNC Police Dog Service collaborated to locate the man in the area, placing him under arrest. The 40-year-old man from Torbay was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court in relation to the warrants for his arrest.
