RNC Make Arrest For Breach of Court Orders

(St. John’s, NL), August 25, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operation Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a man who was breaching court orders overnight in the metro region.

On Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at around 1:20 am, RNC OPS responded to the area of Commonwealth Avenue in Mount Pearl following a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area. Responding officers located the vehicle in the area and identified the operator, confirming that there were court orders in effect in relation to the individual. The man was found to be noncompliant with a number of court orders.

The 43-year-old man from St. John’s was placed under arrest and charged in connection with breaching court orders. He was later released to appear in Provincial Court on a later date.
