RNC Suspend License After Traffic Stop In Metro

(St. John’s, NL), September 7, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) suspended a driver’s license and impounded a vehicle after a traffic stop in the metro region.

On Sunday, September 5, 2021, at approximately 1:20 am, RNC OPS conducted a traffic safety stop on Topsail Road in Paradise. The officers checked the operator for sobriety, valid driver’s license, insurance policy and vehicle registration.

As a result of an investigation in connection with the traffic stop, a 19-year-old female from Paradise was issued a seven-day driver’s license suspension in relation to impaired driving. Her vehicle was impounded from the scene.
