RNC Arrest Impaired Driver in CBS

(Conception Bay South, NL), September 16, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested an impaired driver in Conception Bay South (CBS) yesterday afternoon.

On Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at approximately 1:00 pm, officers with the RNC OPS responded to a report of a vehicle driving erratically on Peacekeepers Way in CBS. Responding officers were able to locate the vehicle a short time later, safely conducting a traffic stop in the area.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 35-year-old male from CBS was placed under arrest and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle. The accused male was released to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
